Although not perfect, this is the best motel lodging in Wellington. The south annex is the newer building.
Room was clean and well kept. Was in the older section of the hotel. New area seems nicer
Overall everything was good. We stayed in the north building across the road so we woke up to the sound of traffic at about 6 am but that was okay. I could see how it would suck for other people though. Check in process was quick. Room seemed a bit overpriced but it was clean and when we needed something replaced it got done quickly.
The beds were very comfortable, bathroom was clean. Over all very nice. My only complaint is the bug population.!!! Get a grip on those and it would rate 5 stars
It is what is is. A hotel in a small town that charges too much for what they offer. Obviously they cater to the railroaders. Other than the mix up on rooms for our first two nights they finally moved us over to the newly built side with the beds we had originally requested. More than likely will stay in Wichita or Derby on our next visit.
